Remember, restarting your computer can fix a whole host of problems. Seriously. You would be surprised how many times a simple REBOOTING will solve whatever problem you are having with this online workshop (or other computer issues).

MySpace/MyKids was designed to be used on computers that are fairly well-equipped. If you are on a dial-up connection, using Windows 98, or on a computer without basic multimedia capabilities, you will most likely not be able to use this online workshop.

If you have signed up already and are experiencing problems with the site due to the abovementioned criteria, please email us and we will gladly issue you a refund.

Q: When I get to the site, it says that I need the Adobe/Macromedia Flash player, where do i get it?
A: Go here to download the Flash player.

Q: The video clips are “jittery”, is there something wrong?
A: The MySpace/MyKids program contains video content that requires a great deal of bandwidth. To participate in the workshop, you need to have a high-speed Internet connection (i.e., DSL, cable Internet, T1, or other high-speed connection.) Most offices have high-speed connections as do almost all Starbucks (bring your headphones to listen to the audio.)

If you are on a high-speed connection and still experience some “jitter”, try clicking on one of the bandwidth buttons in the green area of the MySpace/MyKids controls that are marked with “AUDIO - LOW - MEDIUM - HIGH” to change to a lower resolution version of the workshop if needed.

Q: I want to speak to Jason about a specific problem I’m having with my teen. Does Jason offer live one-on-one counseling?
A: At this time, Jason does not. MySpace/MyKids is an entirely online video workshop and is designed to give you a solid foundation for understanding MySpace.com. We do, however, highly recommend you talk with someone about your situation - especially a good counselor or family pastor. If you want to bring Jason in to speak to your organization or you have a special circumstance that needs attention, please contact us and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: We will issue you a full refund under the following conditions: a) if you experience technical difficulties with the program and are unable to watch the videos successfully, or b) if you are not satisfied with the program and contact us within 10 days of sign-up.

Q: How many times can I view the chapters?
A: You will have access to the MySpace/MyKids site and all the sessions for a period of one year. During this time, you may review the content as many times as you wish. We want you to have the flexibility to review the program as much as you are interested in doing so but discourage the sharing of your username & password with others.
